Im from Venezuela, and this is the best suv you can have in this country, it manages everything, here a normal street is an off road challenge, but the land cruiser pass through it. Excellent for hard conditions, you can find this suv from Africa to south america. From asia to middle east, is just great. You can never go wrong with a land cruiser.

This is my 3rd LC and they have all been great but still only 235 hp and all of that weight??? i know, i know its a TRUCK but Toyota needs to update this motor and asap. i drive a lot of miles and will need to replace this soon. i have done all the looking as usual but the quality of this truck rules over the lack of power. maybe im asking too much.

Originally purchased as a family utility auto to transport 5 boys to school, scoccer, summer trips, ect... but has grown to be such a fun and easy drive and ride, that it is a tough choice to drive it or my BMW around town for short errands. I certainly am not comparing the toyota LC to the BMW 5 series as far as performance but in many ways it is just as much fun to drive. The driver has suprisingly superior steering control for such a big and heavy truck. It drives comfortable like a car, brakes well and the fun gets even better when you go off road. Treat yourself to a test drive...you will experience an immediate and distint difference in agility.

  • 15 years and 215k miles and still like new! - 2003 Toyota Land Cruiser

Im getting to where some pieces need to be replaced but they are all original! The factory muffler lasted to 189k miles! I used to go through a car every 3-4 months (Mercedes CLK, Mini Cooper S, Suburban, 4Runner, Subaru(s)) but just love this vehicle! At 15 years old it still feels like new and is as comfortable as the old t-shirt my wife hates me to wear. This vehicle is not for everyone... its big. Its bullet-proof. The suspension is remarkable and you barely feel what youre driving over. Huge pot holes or 4 feet of snow are no issue. With sunshine I open the large sunroof and windows and enjoy the day. Im thinking of buying a spare for when this one actually breaks!

I drove this vehicle everyday to work and at least once a month from New York City to Palm Coast Florida with 85000 miles on it right now, still on 100% top condition.

This is the best SUV, period. I had a Ford Supercrew, nice, but no comparison. The towing power is great. I tow in mountains and the low gear is incrediable. Great family transportation. Will get another one for sure.

For a reliable, plush ride dont look any further...Nothing compares!! The 2003 interior is truly Lexus-like. Low depreciation makes this SUV even more appealing.

Want a luxury sedan? Buy a Benz, a BMW, or a Bentley. Want a sports car? Buy a Ferrari or a Porsche. Want a watch? Buy an automatic mechanical like an IWC or Rolex. Want automobile superior differential mechanics, high torque that drives like a juggernaut, comfort and class with the utility of an eight-seater? Buy a Land Cruiser.

The Land Cruiser is THE best SUV on the road. Period. Reliability is superb, handling excellent, comfort top-rate, and the ride smooth and quiet. I test drove them all. I read the reviews. And three years of ownership later I still havent wished for anything else, not even my sporty little Mercedes.
